Part-Time studio assistant at Yip.Studio

I am looking for someone who is able to adapt and pick up directions quickly in the kitchen. Someone who is dedicated and efficient. Kitchen experience is appreciated, but not required.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Assisting cake designer (Amy) with food prep - wrapping, cutting, separating, measuring.

• Making sure the kitchen area is clean and organized.

• Assisting cake designer with photoshoot equipment.

• Having a design eye and understanding of light is helpful.

• Running errands. Having a good sense of direction in NY/BK.

• Picking up heavy and or delicate ingredients and materials around the city.

• Assisting with cake deliveries via train and car

• Admin, answering emails, creating invoices for clients (this would be be later down the line)

• 1-3 days per week 10am-6pm (8 hours, start time can vary from week to week)
